The National Botanic Garden of Wales is a beautiful place to spend the weekend for a gift fair. I was able to catch up with previous customers and meet some new talented designer-makers.
Many weeks of hard sewing meant I had lots of new stock to showcase – my favourite being the slightly larger side-panelled variations on my original bags, which adds extra space inside each one.
The handmade cushions are designed using swatch books of upholstery material, giving a cohesive but varied colour range to each one.
The eco shoppers are consistently popular; they made ideal stocking fillers for this time of year.
One of my favourite stalls – characterful handmade bears make themselves at home in the Glasshouse.
Another lovely example of Welsh craft – hand crafted slate work. I had to really restrain myself not to splash out on one of these beautiful bowls!
